FAQ's
1. When will I receive my revenue check?
ACH Payments: Processed on or before the 25th of each month. If the 25th falls on a weekend or holiday, payments will be issued on the next business day. Paper Checks: Mailed between the 25th and 30th of the month. Please allow 15 days for delivery before inquiring about the status of your check.

4. When will the IRS Form 1099-Misc be issued?
IRS Form 1099-MISC will be issued on or before January 31 of the following tax year. If January 31 falls on a weekend, forms may be issued on the next business day.
All address changes must be submitted by completing the Address Change Request Form (form below). For security reasons, changes cannot be made over the phone. Please send your signed form to: Santa Fe Operating LLC 410 17th Street, Suite 1600 Denver, CO 80202 You may also scan and email your request to OwnerRelations@sfoperating.com. Please allow up to 60 days for processing and system updates.
6. A transfer of interest has occurred. When should I notify Santa Fe Operating?
Please notify Santa Fe Operating Owner Relations via email (OwnerRelations@sfoperating.com) as soon as possible so we can update our records. Even if your conveyance documents are still pending at the courthouse, contact us immediately so we can temporarily suspend revenue distribution based on the new documents.
7. How to transfer interest when an owner has passed away?
If an owner of Santa Fe Operating interests has passed away, the process for transferring ownership depends on whether they had a will and where they resided. 1. Oklahoma Owner Without a Will: - An Affidavit of Heirship along with a death certificate must be recorded in the county where the interest is held. - Send Santa Fe Operating a copy of the recorded documents. 2. Oklahoma Owner With a Will: - The will must be probated in Oklahoma, and the Final Decree must be recorded in the county where the interest is located. - Send Santa Fe Operating a copy of the recorded documents. 3. Non-Oklahoma Resident With a Will: - A certified Final Decree from an Oklahoma probate or, if probate is completed in another state, a certified Final Decree from an ancillary probate completed in Oklahoma must be filed in the county where the interest is held. - Send Santa Fe Operating a copy of the recorded documents. 4. Non-Oklahoma Resident Without a Will: - An Affidavit of Heirship and death certificate must be recorded in the county where the interest is held. - Send Santa Fe Operating a copy of the recorded documents. 8. I had a name change, what do you need to update my account?
Please provide the requested documentation that matches your situation: 1. Individual Name Change Due to Marriage, Divorce, etc.: - Marriage certificate, divorce decree reinstating maiden name, or other document affecting name change 2. Company Name Change: - Certificate of name change, including tax ID and W9 form 3. Company Name Change Due to a Merger: - Certificate of merger, including tax ID 4. Appointment of Attorney-in-Fact: - Copy of power of attorney
9. I want to sell or lease my interest to SFO, who do I contact?
To lease or sell your interest, please contact us at OwnerRelations@sfoperating.com.
10. Haven’t received your revenue check?
Your account may be in suspense for one of the following reasons: - Title requirement - Address unknown - Uncashed revenue check - The revenue accrued is under the minimum release threshold per applicable state statute If believe your account is in pay and you should have received a payment contact owner relations at OwnerRelations@sfoperating.com. Please allow 20 days since issuance before contacting owner relations to allow time for the check to be delivered.
12. Why does my payment amount fluctuate month to month?
A number of factors can influence your payments each month, including: - Fluctuations in prices received and volumes sold - Normal production declines as a property ages - Temporary mechanical or operating changes affecting production If you notice a significant change in the amount of your payment and you have reason to believe an error has occurred, please contact owner relations at OwnerRelations@sfoperating.com.
